Whatever Social Network you use or tools like Facebook, Twitter but email is a more popular tool that everybody use. The real thing about email is, its easy to use and people are aware with it. to use it they don't have to go to help section and that's why Google and yahoo creating social element into the email. Yahoo rolled new version and Google is way on for Google Wave.
