As Gmail
rolled out a migration tool for new users last month where other email user able to migrates email and contacts from other email providers, including Yahoo!, Hotmail, AOL, and many more(
see the list here ). You can able to get messages to your Gmail that forwarded from your old account for 30 days, That migration tool was only for new user til now but it's available for all Gmail users whether it's a new account or existing.
This is a major step from Gmail. As all people do have email accounts in other service like
Yahoo Mail and
AOl and it's to hard for all to switch over with new Gmail because as time goes your email subscription become vast and you can't remember all the websites you subscribe or contacts that have your old emails ID so because of this it's to hard to switch over with new email
Google do provide tools so you can get your mail from other accounts in Gmail using POP3 or you can setup a IMAP with your mail client or server. Further ahead Gmail also allow you to set up
your old email as"Send mail as" where you can "Reply to emails" by using your old email Ids so you don't have to go to your old account for replying the email but this can't solve the problem. These are the tools allow you to handle your emails from Gmail
But user who having free mail accounts with Yahoo and AOl not able to use"IMAP", "POP" or "Forward Email" feature. For them it's to hard to switch to Gmail and mostly people do use these webmail service and many times we need some old emails to read that time we need to login to these old services to get the email.
Gmails new migration tool solve this problem entirely. When you switch over to new gmail or your existing Gmail just go to Settings > Accounts and Import > there just provide your old email details to Gmail like email id and password and transfer your entire Yahoo Inbox or AOL Inbox or any webmail that supported to Gmail. As Gmail stated that it take time to import all emails over to your Gmail. It depends how many emails you have in your old accounts. Once the process completed after that you never have to go to your old accounts for getting the emails and you can search the emails within the Gmail interface only and still you able to get the emails over to Gmail from your old account for 30 days. that's not all it also takes your entire contact list to Gmail so you don't have to loos your old contacts too.
This entire Importing process is powered by Esaya Inc.'s
TrueSwitch so now It's much easier to make the transition now that you can bring along all your old email and contacts from other email accounts.

Finally migration tool come in Gmail. Gmail now migrates email and contacts from other email providers, including Yahoo!, Hotmail, AOL, and many more( see the list below). It's much easier to make the transition now that you can bring along all your old email and contacts from other email accounts. You can even have your messages forwarded from your old account for 30 days,

This new feature is available in all newly created Gmail accounts, but according to company it is slowly being rolled out to all existing Gmail accounts. Just go to Accounts and Import tab under Settings & just click the
Import mail and contacts button. now Enter the password for your other email account and click
Continue. Select all the check boxes (See the Upper Screenshot no 2) that apply according to your needs, after selecting options click

Importing is powered by Esaya Inc.'s
TrueSwitch email account switching services. By partnering TrueSwitch definrtly Google Will gain many new gmail users. After this step for users it's easy to migrate therie existing emails in new Gmail. For businesses and schools who using Google Apps won't see these new migration options.

Yahoo! has released a desktop email and personal information management client called
Zimbra Desktop. It's based on the Zimbra email, calendar, and contact service that Yahoo!
purchased a few years ago for $350 million. And that explains why the desktop client looks so much like the latest version of Yahoo!'s web based email service.
The interesting thing is that Zimbra Desktop doesn't just provide access to your Yahoo! email account. You can also link it to your Gmail, AOL, Windows Live, or other web mail accounts. It supports POP and IMAP as well. If you're using a tag-based email service like Gmail, Zimbra Desktop will import your labels and treat them like folders. But you can also use the email client to tag, sort, or search for messages on your desktop.
Zimbra is an open source application and it's available for Mac, Windows and Linux. Not only does it have an integrated calendar and contact solution, but it can also import your calendars and contact lists from Yahoo! and Gmail. Windows Live address books can also be imported, but not the calendar.
Yahoo! Zimbra Desktop combines the best aspects of existing email clients. May be it can replace Outlook. All emails like Zimbra Mail. Yahoo! Mail. Gmail. AOL. They all work automatically in Yahoo! Zimbra Desktop; even Outlook or any other work or personal email account using POP or IMAP is easy to set up. The best part—you can read them offline without an internet connection when you are in "airplane" mode
Personally, I haven't felt much need to use a desktop email client for the past few years. Web mail is accessible from any computer with a web browser, as well as mobile devices. And you don't need to configure any software to get it working. But if you're a fan of desktop email clients, you might want to give Zimbra Desktop a look. It's free, after all or You can try Thunderbird its also free with addon support.

Internet Search engine
Ask is reverting to its original name, Ask Jeeves, as it reintroduces the iconic fictional butler into its corporate branding. English butler who serves up answers to search queries, saying its British users missed him after the company dropped him three years ago.
Ask is returning to its original name, "Ask Jeeves", in Britain, and is launching a multi-million-pound advertising campaign on Monday featuring an updated, three-dimensional and less servile Jeeves than his previous incarnation.
The search engine has been through a series of rebrands so Jeeves will appear on TV advertising this week and will also have a Facebook profile and Twitter account, the company said. He is only returning to the
UK site of Ask.com.
The original idea behind Ask Jeeves was to allow users to get answers to questions posed in everyday, natural language. It supports a variety of user queries in plain English (natural language), as well as traditional keyword searching. On September 23, 2005 the company announced plans to phase out Jeeves and on February 27, 2006 the character disappeared from Ask.com. Now the character is returning in Ask.com
Ask is struggling, as all search engines other than Google which having 90% of the market share, so the other search engines -
Yahoo,
MSN,
AOL,
Ask to name but a few - are all trying to grab a share of the remaining 10%.
Ask, a unit of Barry Diller's Internet media company
IAC/InterActive Corp, says it has stabilised its British base at 15 million users per month by improving the relevance and speed of the results it delivers and its user-friendliness. In the United States, Ask is the fourth-most popular search engine after Google, Yahoo and Microsoft with 3.8 percent of the market, according to industry tracker ComScore.

You can also able to receive an updates at any time by just sending a blank email to NutshellMail and personally I'm a fan of one feature called "Boomerang". For me it works like magic. By using boomerang you can have your another email in primary your Inbox.
For example: If you are using your corporate email account& at that time there is important email in your Gmail so instead of log in to GMail u just need to send a email called "Boomerang" and in seconds you can see a copy of that same email that you have in Gmail, Kind of Instant Forward but here you can have control that which email you wanna see right away.
