Until now, there hasn't been a good way to combine all your feeds into a single gadget. Except some desktop App that provide the Google reader Subscription on your Desktop but now its possible to have your subscription with the new Google Reader gadget which help you to track your feeds and Google Reader subscriptions directly from your desktop. The Google Reader gadget is designed to be familiar for existing Reader users, yet compact like our other Desktop gadgets.To get started just download the gadget for that you do need to install Google Desktop first. After downloading do sign in with your Google account. If you're already having subscription in Online Google Reader, your gadget will update automatically with new posts. Clicking an item opens a larger view where you can see the item preview and perform familiar actions such as star, share, and email Well you won't enjoy full reading experience because HTML feeds won't render fully but clicking on the feed Title will take you to the original website in your default browser.


The Google Reader gadget runs with the latest Linux and Windows releases of Google Desktop gadgets and is open sourced under the Apache 2.0 license.

Today Facebook release it's own application built on Adobe Air Application named Facebook Desktop" Like other Adobe Air application for twitter & other social accounts it does the same job. It steam your Facebook Friends activity & bring it to your desktop so you can stay updated with your friends and other connections on Facebook.

According to Company, you'll be able to view your stream and publish information into your desktop computer or your mobile phone. Your stream will appear just as it does on Facebook.com and maintain the same privacy settings.

By using the application you'll be able to interact with your stream just as you would on Facebook but directly from your desktop rather than through a browser. You'll be able to do all the same things you would normally do on Facebook, including view your friends' content and share information through the Publisher. You can even "Like" and comment on your friends' stories directly from your desktop.
