Recently Shakira did a live stream the debut of her latest music video, Give It Up To Me on Facebook which attracted quite a crowd. Over the course of the ten-minute live stream, Shakira’s video had 95,000 unique viewers during the initial broadcast. And over the course of the last 24 hours, the video has seen a total of over 500,000 views.

Here is some great news for iPhone users who are running the latest iPhone OS 3.0 or higher. Yahoo just bring the ability to sync your Yahoo! Calendar with your iPhone Calendar. Apple and Yahoo! have collaborated to bring this feature over to your iPhone Calendar. Yahoo using the open standard- CalDAV, that has been developed by the CalConnect group, which Yahoo! and Apple both are members.

Setting up your calendar to sync with your iPhone is too easy. There is nothing to download or plugging into your computer. Syncing calendar to your iPhone can be done over the air in just a few simple steps on your iPhone.

To get started.

  • Go to your iPhone settings application.
  • Tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".
  • Tap "Add Account".
  • Tap "Other" and then tap "Add CalDAV Account".
  • For the "Server" you can simply type "yahoo".
  • Now type in the Yahoo! username and password you use to signin to your calendar
  • Once you click save, the iPhone will verify your username and password.
  • Next time you open up your iPhone Calendar you will see a page allowing you to select which Yahoo! Calendar layer you want to view/edit.

One thing to note that Once you start syncing your Calendar with your iPhone you will be upgraded to all new Yahoo! Calendar 2.0 Beta automatically. You will not be able to go back to the old calendar product once this process is completed.

So now all of your events will be synced over the air to your iPhone and to Yahoo Web Calendar too without having to plug into your computer. You can also share your calendar with your friends and family via Yahoo Calendar. When you do that, you’ll get to see their events on your phone as well. Now, you really can have a mobile calendar !
