At our Mountain View headquarters, Google have some fields that need to mow occasionally to clear weeds and brush to reduce fire hazard so to do the job they try a low-carbon approach: Instead of using noisy mowers that run on gasoline and pollute the air, they've rented some goats from California Grazing to do the job & for sure this time they're not "kidding".
A herder brings about 200 goats and they spend roughly a week at Google, eating the grass and fertilizing at the same time. According to Google, It costs them about the same as mowing, and goats are a lot cuter (According to them) to watch than lawn mowers.
But Some people measured the carbon footprint of trucking 200 goats to Google is actually more than running a few lawnmowers? I think may be it can be true at some part.
In many place of world & In India, Farmers do the cleaning of their farms by the Goats.
