Gmail users can now make use of translation right from their e-mails with a new Gmail labs add-on. By this feature users able to translate emails in different language they can understand.

Simply enable "Message Translation" from the Labs tab under Settings, and when you receive an email in a language other than your own, Gmail will help you translate it into a language you can understand. In one click. It does the actual translation in just a few seconds, and gets both the subject and body while retaining the original. You can switch back to it by hitting the translate link again.

It's a very helpful tool who is working global and doing conversation with people who do not know English or the basic language you speak but now don't worry you can translate the email
in their language.

It works two ways like I do email one of my friend who speak German well but he do not have grip in English that much so if he use Gmail & this feature is active then only he able to read the email in his native language German but instead of this I can translate my email body in his language German so whatever email program he is using he can communicate with me in German and when he reply my email he will gonna think that my German is powerful so may be he will reply back with his native language but don't worry now Gmail's got your back. Actually he thinks my German is very good ( shhhh ! don't tell anyone)

This feature is great but there is one problem, Once the email have been translated they don't stay translated, which means you'll have to re-translate every time you're viewing that message again. The translated text is also not indexed into Gmail's search engine, which means you have to remember the word phrase in its original language to find it & I think that would be hard because when you don't know the language then hardly you can able to search that email and if it's important then may be you may scratch your head to find it ! !
