FireFox release new beta version 3.5b4. in this new FireFox 3.5b offering many changes over the previous version like supporting new web technologies, improving performance and ease of use, and adding new features for users.
In New version mainly awaited feature is revealed private browsing. This feature already in Internet Explorer 8 and Google Chrome where user can switch to private browsing session. It provide "Private Browsing," which allows you to browse the Internet without FireFox retaining any of data about which sites and pages you have visited.
there may be times when you do not want other users of your computer to see or access such information. For example, perhaps if a friend or family member shares your computer, you would prefer for them not to be able to see what websites you've visited or what files you've downloaded at this time Private Browsing can be handy. You can do this job by clearing the private data in FireFox stable version but this feature difference is that Private browsing delete the browsing history automatically and do not store any data that provides more security and privacy. Data like Visited pages, Form and Search Bar entries, Passwords, Download List entries, Cookies, Web cache files etc.
another feature is Control the Smart Location Bar results with special characters. As you know that FireFox Smart Location Bar works as a internal search engine when you type something into the address bar( Mozilla call it Smart Location Bar) the feature is nice but if you type Mozilla it will pull data from titles & bookmark tags, history but with too many bookmarks its too hard to find a web page at that time you can use this feature and restrict your search and according to your terms Mozilla will show you more perfect results.
In this version you can watch a video in your browser without needing any plugins or external media players. It means that may be you ll not need flash plug in. I'm using word "may be" because yet we need to test this particular feature.
Version 3.5b4 has ability to provide Location Aware Browsing using web standards for geolocation. Geolocation lets websites know where you are in order to bring you more relevant information, or to save you time while searching. It’s about making the Web smarter, more intuitive and easier to use.
For example, if you’re looking for pizza restaurants in your area, a simple search for “pizza” will bring you the answers you need…no further information or extra typing required Or, if you’re mapping out directions to get somewhere, FireFox will know where you’re starting from so all you have to do is tell it where you want to go. Google also providing same feature.
In this version may be some add ons not able to work. You can run the browser in safe mode to avoide creshes. Old Beta user can update the browser by going Help > Check for Update > & download the Updates or Download fresh copy of version 3.5b4 download from here, remember it's a beta.
