Today, Zoho release new major version of word processor - Zoho Writer 2.0, In this release hundreds of improvements & many new updates and features are included like major upgrades with a fresh and elegant new user interface & significant improvements which looks nice, slick and groovy. For user its easy and comfortable to use.

In previous version, Zoho Writer's core functionality was available as links and buttons in three rows but it was looking so clustered with the number of buttons increased which made it difficult to look for the right button.
Here they introduced a new interface which Zoho call as 'MenuTab'. In this the whole interface is categorized in tabs and the key functionality to use these tabs as Menu like 'Format', 'Insert', 'Review' etc & commonly used features like Save, Undo, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste are grouped together beside the MenuTabs.
Sidebar Enhancements
The sidebar for Zoho Writer is also improved in this update. The new sidebar has features to multi-select documents and perform actions.The icons beside the document name shows if the document is shared or public . Zoho also included Search functionality in the side bar.
