Boxee has Brought Back Hulu in Different Form

Boxee, which aggregates Web video for television set-top boxes, has launched a new version that restores access to video hub Hulu. The NBC Universal-News Corp. joint venture had pulled its content from Boxee after content partners took issue with it.

Boxee has brought back Hulu by extending its support for a new built-in RSS feeds reader which is optimized for videos, and is pulling the video content sites like Google Video, Yahoo!, YouTube and feeds from many other websites.It will additionally support Hulu’s public RSS feeds.

They also introduce new features like,

App Box: this is a first take at an application “store” that makes it easy for users to install new apps and plugins. there is also native support for 3rd party repositories.
