In Gmail when we need to know how many unread emails we have in our Inbox so there are many ways we can know the Unread email status. The simply way to know the status count is simply see the browser tab which will show you unread email counts but when you have too many browser tabs open & when your Gmail Tab is inactive at that time its too hard to know how many emails you have in your Inbox. At that time You have to open the window to see if there is anything new in your inbox.
Today in Gmail Labs a new features called "TitleTweaks" has been addee. Its working like a charm. All you need to do is go to Google Labs and active it. Once you turn on Title Tweaks from the Labs tab under Settings, after that yout Tab titel will look like Inbox (20) - your.email@gmail.com instead of Gmail - Inbox (20) - your.email@gmail.com. It just changes the order of the elements in the browser title bar to put the more important things first & put the Unread email count status so u can know how many emails you are having in your Gmail Inbox.
Gmail is becoming more and more user friendly day by day. To be frank I was a loyal Yahoo mail user but Gmail charm steal me from them ! !
